On August 3, 2020, Community Health Northwest Florida’s Fairfield Pediatrics will have a new home and a new nickname, “Trinity Pediatrics.”
Formerly embedded in the Escambia County Health Department, the pediatric practice will relocate to the Trinity Building at 5375 North 9th Avenue in Pensacola, adjacent to the Sacred Heart campus. Trinity Pediatrics will share an address with the organization’s existing Pediatric Convenient Care clinic.
“Having a shared vision and mission that complements our partnering organizations’ (Sacred Heart Hospital and University of Florida) creates an authentic opportunity for us to leverage our resources in support of greater access for much needed pediatric services,” says Community Health Northwest Florida CEO Chandra Smiley.
Led by the University of Florida Pediatric Residency program, Trinity Pediatrics will provide a full range of comprehensive pediatric primary care services, including well checks, school and daycare physicals, immunizations and chronic conditions as well as the treatment of minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, fevers, ear infections and sore throats. Offering both in-clinic and telehealth virtual visit options, Trinity Pediatrics will continue to serve children and young adults, age newborn to 18.
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Community Health Northwest Florida accepts Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care plans including Lighthouse Health Plan, Sunshine Health and Humana, as well as most commercial insurances. The health center also provides a sliding fee scale plan for uninsured patients.
