Covid-19 and the Holidays

Back to all News

“Pandemic”. Who would have thought we’d ever see or speak this word so much (if at all) in our lifetime, much less in a year? But as troubling as it is, we all know Covid-19 is the real deal.  And as we celebrate the arrival of a vaccine and its impending, gradual distribution to all who opt in to receive it, we need to remain vigilant to protect ourselves and ultimately those around us who are most vulnerable. So, as much as we know you (we all) may be going a little stir crazy and are experiencing winter wanderlust, the truth remains: The safest way to celebrate winter holidays is to celebrate at home with the people who live with you. Staying home is the best way to protect yourself and others, as travel and gatherings with family and friends who do not live with you can increase your chances of getting or spreading COVID-19 or the flu.
