Phyllis is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Community Health Northwest Florida. She is passionate about providing quality healthcare to underserved communities and has dedicated her entire career to serving those with the greatest need.
Phyllis earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Missouri State University (now the University of Central Missouri) in 1998. She began her nursing career in medical-surgical care, where she worked for five years before returning to school. In 2003, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Rural Family Practice through a Department of Health initiative designed to train healthcare providers for rural communities in Missouri. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout her career, Phyllis has remained committed to serving underserved populations. Her work includes volunteering with local community health organizations and participating in medical missionary trips overseas. She brings decades of experience and a heart for service to every patient interaction.
