Who is Community Health Northwest Florida?
As you’ve likely already read on our About page, Community Health Northwest Florida is a Federally Qualified Health Center that serves Escambia and Santa Rosa counties and beyond, from Pensacola to Century to Milton.
Some 2025 stats of note:
- We have 14 brick-and-mortar locations.
- Our mobile units comprise two medical and one dental vehicles.
- We served nearly 49,000 patients.
- We recorded more than 105,000 medical visits.
- Behavioral Health recorded more than 9,000 visits.
- Dental visits totaled more than 27,000.
- Women’s Care saw more than 9,000 visits.
- Telehealth recorded more than 4,000 visits.
Our patients’ insurance status breaks down thusly:
- Medicaid: 37 percent
- Uninsured: 35 percent
- Private insurance: 19 percent
- Medicare: 7 percent
In 2025 we served more than 2,300 homeless or unhoused patients.
Economic impact
We’re not just helping patients — we’re impacting the greater Escambia/Santa Rosa area as a whole. In 2025 we saw (per FACHS):
- $77.6 million in total economic impact (up $54.7 million since 2014)
- 468 jobs created
- 143,698 patient visits
- 48,731 patients served
- 166% return on investment
- $24.5 million labor expenses
