Dr. Marian Stewart joined the Community Health Northwest Florida provider team in January 2017 as a pediatrician at Century Pediatrics.
Dr. Stewart — who went to high school in nearby Jay — graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1993 after receiving a Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida. She completed her residency at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, specializing in Pediatrics.
Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Escambia County Medical Society. She received the FSU College of Medicine’s Pensacola campus Guardian of the Mission Community Faculty Award in 2008-2009.
Dr. Stewart has practiced Pediatrics in the North Escambia and Santa Rosa counties since January 1999 and enjoys mentoring doctors and medical students in hopes they will develop an interest in serving people in small rural towns.
“The best thing about being a doctor for nearly 30 years are the bonds that are formed with the families over several generations,” she says. “Watching a child grow up to become the parent is one of the greatest blessings.”
In her spare time, Dr. Stewart enjoys reading, watching movies and hanging out with friends on the weekends.
