Erin Smith, MD, was born and raised in Mobile, Ala. She graduated medical school from Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
Erin preformed her family-medicine residency in Montgomery, Ala.
“Throughout medical school and residency, I was taught the importance of caring for the underserved,” she says. “That instilled in me the desire to continue working with uninsured and under-insured patients.”
