Nobody ever said they wish they’d gotten sick. (Or more sick than they might have otherwise.) That’s why now is the perfect time to get your flu shot in Pensacola or Milton at one of our four Community Health Northwest Florida pharmacies.
The Centers for Disease Control’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommends that everyone older than 6 months who doesn’t have a contraindication (think: allergy or otherwise known reaction) receive an influenza vaccination ahead of this flu season. We recommend you do so, too.
The adult flu vaccine can help prevent you from getting sick. It can help protect those around you from getting sick, too. It’s especially important for adults age 50 and older, and for pregnant women. And getting the flu vaccine is especially important for those who care for newborns, which are too young to receive the vaccine themselves.
