Athena earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of West Florida, as well as a Master’s Degree in Accounting & Financial Management from The Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University in 2011. Having joined the staff at CHNWF in 2012, Athena has ten years of FQHC financial experience.  Before joining the staff at CHNWF, Athena worked as an Accounting Specialist at Sage Software, Inc, and spent three years at Sacred Heart Hospital in Revenue.

Athena is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda, the oldest and largest national honor society for students who achieve and maintain outstanding scholastic standards and leadership characteristics. She gives back to her community as a mentor, spending her time teaching and tutoring and she LOVES the electric guitar.
