Dr. Joel Geurin is a board-certified family medicine physician with a diverse background in clinical care, military service, and international medical missions. Originally from California, he completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Geurin went on to complete his family medicine residency at In His Image Family Medicine in Tulsa, Okla., where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-centered care. Following residency, he served in the United States Navy at Naval Hospital Pensacola, providing care to active-duty service members and their families.
Driven by a love for the lost, Dr. Geurin spent five years practicing medical missions in Africa, delivering care in resource-limited settings and working closely with local communities to improve access to healthcare.
In 2026, he joined Community Health Northwest Florida, where he continues to provide compassionate, full-spectrum family medicine. His clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, osteopathic manipulation and building long-term relationships with patients and families.
