Dr. Quetheline “Cathy” Lanza is a Pediatrician at Community Health Northwest Florida at 12th Avenue Pediatrics. She is passionate about serving the public — especially children and those who need an advocate most.
Dr. Lanza grew up in Lancaster, Mass., the daughter of hardworking immigrant parents who instilled in her a lifelong commitment to doing her best in all things. She earned her medical degree from UTESA School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic, where she was also involved in missionary medical work in the region. She completed her residency at Sacred Heart Hospital, affiliated with UF Health.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Lanza has practiced in a range of pediatric settings — private practice, urgent care, and public health — including a position with the Milton Health Department and two practices she opened herself. She joined Community Health Northwest Florida more than 15 years ago, and has also served as Clerkship Faculty for FSU College of Medicine for over 20 years. Dr. Lanza is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
“I feel that I serve the public and will continue to do so, because I have a passion for people — especially the helpless — and that is what pushes me to keep going every day.”
