Community Health provides mammogram screening service for any patient who needs one, regardless of insurance, income or ability to pay.
About 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. In 2026 alone, more than 321,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women. About 42,000 will succumb to the disease.
Early detection remains the key to survival. The ACA says women at average risk for breast cancer between 40 and 44 have the option to start screening annually. Starting at age 45, women should be screened every year.

“Mammograms are one of the most important things we do,” says Community Health Northwest Florida CEO Chandra Smiley. “The Breast Cancer Association’s continued support makes sure we’re able to provide a mammogram every female patient.”
Community Health Northwest Florida providers mammography services at its Jackson Street and Milton locations.
